GrandWay Hall

LOCATION: THE GRANDWAY EVENT CENTRE

Built in 2020, the 3,800-square-foot hall, accommodating up to 230 guests. With the option to divide the room we can accommodate up to 60 people. The divider allows us to create special moments from a wedding ceremony to reception or a meeting and a breakout room, the possibilities are endless!

Large windows look out onto the 53-acre property with a beautiful partially covered patio space, perfect for a cocktail hour or an outdoor ceremony. A neutral colour palette embraces a rustic yet elegant style, allowing you to put your personal touch on the space.

The GrandWay Hall can be used in conjunction with our grounds for an outdoor ceremony or the River Room as an indoor alternative.

Room capacity is dependent on room configuration. Connect with an Events and Experiences Coordinator to discuss what is right for you.

River Room

Location: The GrandWay Event Centre

• 48 people
• 945 sf
• potential for a private entrance

The River Room shows you that an event doesn’t have to be big to be ‘Grand’. Located in the new GrandWay Event Centre it provides an ideal venue for a corporate function.

Facing away from the track, the River Room is smaller than the GrandWay Hall but has all the same finishings and access to all the same amenities, such as A/V set up, customized room configurations, and its own private patio space.

Irvine Boardroom

Location: The GrandWay Event Centre

If you’re looking for a modern and professional space to host your next meeting, look no further than our new state-of-the-art boardroom ready to accommodate all your needs. With seating for 16 people, an 80″ LED screen, and full 360 video conferencing capability – we make connecting in and out of the board room effortless.

Outdoor Patio

LOCATION: THE GRANDWAY EVENT CENTRE

• Approx. 8,000 SF
• FULLY LICENSED

The only limitation to events on our outdoor patio is your imagination! Connected to the GrandWay Hall and Grandway Lounge, the patio overlooks the racetrack and grounds.

The fully licensed space has partial coverage and can be accessed from the trackside or from inside the Event Centre. Perfect for a patio party, beer festival, or show – turn your next outdoor event into a ‘Grand’ one! We host all of our Group Patio Parties during the Grand River Raceway season here.

Paddock & Annex

Location: The GrandWay Event Centre

• Paddock: 33,600 sf
• Annex: 2,600 sf
• indoor industrial space

The Paddock (Barns) and Annex can be accessed as individual spaces or combined to create a single venue. Adjoining the GrandWay Events Centre the facility boasts power, running water, concrete floors, and washrooms.

These dynamic and unique spaces are ideal for events such as markets, shows, concerts, and agricultural events.

Event Tent

• 40′ x 75′ or customized

Access our permanent event tent located on the tarmac, trackside and right in the heart of the action. This casual space makes for the perfect private party where you can eat, drink and dance the night away.

Are you looking for a tent but prefer a more secluded location? Need something larger or smaller? Working with our preferred partners we have access to a variety of tent options and 53 acres to find a Grand solution for you!

Infield & Grounds

Location: Grounds

• 6-acre grassed infield
• 10′ x 14′ video wall
• 53-acre grounds

With 53-acres, including grandstand seating, tarmac, patio, and plenty of green space, our grounds are full of opportunities for your unique event. Let your imagination run wild with ideas for the 5/8-mile Standardbred Racetrack, all while using the 10 x 14 ft video wall and sound system to connect with the crowd.

We’ve hosted Truck & Tractor Pulls, recreational baseball tournaments, equestrian games, large animal rescue workshops, a concert, running race, and so much more. What ‘Grand’ event do you have in mind?

IMPORTANT: There are unique requirements for this area, please ensure you reach out well in advance of your event to be able to discuss how you could use the space.

Parking Lot

Location: Grounds

The parking lot is spread between The GrandWay Events Centre, Grand River Raceway, and Elements Casino.  With 880 parking spaces, your guests won’t struggle to find parking, it is fully accessible, and has electric car chargers available. We’ve hosted car shows, community gatherings, and more on our parking lot. Special requirements are needed to utilize this space, please contact our Events Team at bookings@thegrandway.com.
